Role Summary:
Lead the design, specification, and engineering quality control of HVAC and building-services systems (ventilation, HVAC, ducting, fire safety) — ensuring optimal, code-compliant, efficient solutions especially for commercial/industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HVAC system design for complex building projects — sizing and selecting equipment, performing energy modelling, load calculations, and preparing technical specs.
- Coordinate with architects, structural and electrical teams to produce integrated MEP designs, ensure compliance with codes/standards and industry best practices.
- Review and approve design calculations and drawings; supervise junior engineers/designers; ensure quality, consistency and compliance in all deliverables.
- Provide sustainable, energy-efficient design solutions; advise clients on HVAC and building-services options; contribute to proposal and tender documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Mechanical or relevant; 7–10+ years experience in HVAC/building-services design (preferably in industrial/commercial projects); strong software and design standards knowledge.
